Talk on running as a catalyst for social change

Every year, close to 200 children with HIV/AIDS, special needs and other backgrounds hailing from Bengaluru take part in various running events in the annual Hyderabad Marathon.

Hyderabad: As part of the weekly webinar talk on running and healthy living, the Hyderabad Runners is organising a talk on ‘Running and Learning: Catalysts for Social Change’ to be delivered by founder of Bengaluru-based social enterprise Runner’s High Santosh Padmanabhan from 7.30 pm on February 13.

Every year, close to 200 children with HIV/AIDS, special needs and other backgrounds hailing from Bengaluru take part in various running events in the annual Hyderabad Marathon. Santosh Padmanabhan is involved in training such children and youth in long distance running and promoting it as a part of their lives and curriculum in the educational initiatives, experiential programmes for health, life skills and more.
