Tameer-e-Millat to hold 77th annual Jalsa Youm-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen in Hyderabad on Aug 26
Tameer-e-Millat will organise its 77th annual Jalsa Youm-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen on August 26 at Numaish Grounds, Hyderabad. The gathering, held without break for 76 years, will highlight the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed, with religious scholars and community leaders addressing the event.
Hyderabad: The Tameer-e-Millat will organise its 77th annual Jalsa Youm-e-Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen on August 26 from 10.30 am at Numaish Grounds, Nampally, its president Syed Ayub Hussaini said on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference, Ayub Hussaini said elaborate arrangements were being made for the annual religious gathering, which has been organised continuously for the past 76 years. “The religious gathering will focus on the life, teachings and message of Prophet Mohammed and the need to follow his teachings in our daily lives,” he said.
Religious scholars and prominent personalities are expected to address the gathering. He said preparations for the event had begun after Ramadan and various programmes were being organised as part of the celebrations.
Ayub Hussaini said Tameer-e-Millat had been working for the welfare of the community for several decades and had undertaken several educational and social initiatives.
Another event connected to the Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, ‘Youm-e-Sahaba’ will be organised at Government Junior College Chanchalguda grounds the next day on August 27 from 8.30 pm onwards.
