Tanishq Muralidhar wins gold and silver at Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship

Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s talented young shooter Kodavali Tanishq Muralidhar Naidu won gold in the 25m standard pistol junior men’s event and silver in the 25m standard pistol men’s event at the Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship in Bhopal.
Tanishq, a product of the Gun For Glory Shooting Academy (Gachibowli), is part of the Academy’s prestigious Project Leap high-performance program and is also supported under the Government of India’s Khelo India scheme.
The academy was founded by Olympic medalist Gagan Narang and Pawan Singh, who currently serves as the Secretary General of the National Rifle Association of India.
“I am very happy to win gold and silver for Telangana at such a prestigious championship. The competition was very strong, and these medals motivate me to work even harder for upcoming national and international events. I am thankful to my coaches, my family, Gun For Glory, and everyone who has supported me throughout my journey,” Tanishq said.
His mother, Anuradha, expressed pride in his achievement, saying: “It is wonderful to see his hard work translating into results at the national level.”
Tanishq’s father, Srinivas, who served in the Indian Navy, has also been a strong pillar of support throughout his sporting career.
