Warangal Urban: Task Force police arrested a person for allegedly selling banned gutka and seized gutka worth Rs 54,400, and Rs 20,000 cash besides a scooter from him on Thursday.
Task Force Inspector Ch Srinivas Ji said: “On receiving credible information about sale of gutka, the Task Force team apprehended one Mohammad Chand Pasha, near Siddam restaurant under the limits of Mills Colony police station. The accused and the seized property have been handed over to Mills Colony police for further action.” Two more accused in the case, Syed Zaveed of Hyderabad, and Karan of Ramnagar, Hyderabad, are absconding.
