Hyderabad: Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) General Secretary Guruva Reddy has demanded a thorough inquiry into the alleged misappropriation of Rs 69 crores meant for Cricket Development, which were allegedly looted in a quid pro quo arrangement between Visaka Industries and Management of the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
“Strict action should be taken against Dr G Vivekanand and Apex Council Members of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) responsible for the fraudulent activity in HCA,” he informed the Media on Thursday.
Mr Reddy released Documents related to the alleged Financial Irregularities and HCA’s intentional misconduct and failure to protect publicly accountable Money.
He stated that though Board of Control for Cricket in India has directed both TCA and HCA to meet, hold discussions, and arrive at a decision on the Collaboration for Cricket Development, and though a meeting was held for the final time on February 18 under the chairmanship of Justice Naveen Rao, HCA had no proposal for Cricket Development.
