Hyderabad: TDCA XI clinched a thrilling 13-run victory over Mahabubnagar in the final to win the Telangana Districts Cricket Association (TDCA) Under-17 T20 tournament in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Batting first, TDCA XI posted a challenging 182/4 in 20 overs, powered by Mahesh Jadhav’s brilliant unbeaten 101 off 63 balls, including 16 fours and a six. Shivshankar contributed a solid 52 off 34 balls. In reply, Mahabubnagar faltered in the chase, with only Sanju’s quickfire 41 off 25 balls standing out. Despite efforts, they were bowled out for 169 in 19.3 overs. TDCA’s Dixit (3/23), Arun Kumar (2/26), and Jadhav (2/26) shone with the ball.
