Hyderabad: A teacher was arrested by the Mailardevpally police on charges of sexually assaulting a boy student.
According to the police, the man Shoeib Akhtar, (25), who works at a school in Shastripuram, was sexually assaulting the boy for the last few weeks.
The child complained to his parents and they reached the institution and spoke to the management. However, on spotting the teacher, the parents along with a few local people manhandled him.
The Mailardevpally police reached the spot and dispersed the gathering and took the teacher into their custody. A case was registered.
