Hyderabad: The Jawaharnagar policed arrested a tuition teacher on charges of misbehaving with a minor girl who went to study at his house on Friday night.

The suspect and the six-year-old girl are from the same neighbourhood and she was going to him for tuition for the last few months. Police said the suspect was making sexual advances towards the girl for some days during the tuition and later too. On Friday night, after tuition, he misbehaved with her, following which the child raised an alarm and escaped. On hearing her scream, neighbours rushed to the spot and thrashed the suspect before handing him over to the police.
