Techie arrested for attacking home guard in Hyderabad
A software engineer was arrested by Abid Road police for allegedly attacking a home guard during vehicle checking at the General Post Office crossroads in Hyderabad. Police said the accused picked up an argument before allegedly assaulting the home guard.
Hyderabad: The Abid Road police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly attacking a home guard who stopped him during vehicle checking.
According to the police, home guard Y Kumar and other personnel from the Abid Road traffic police station were conducting vehicle checks at the General Post Office crossroads when the suspect, Pasupala Yeshwanth (26), a software engineer, was stopped. “Yeshwanth picked up a quarrel with the home guard and later attacked Kumar while behaving aggressively,” police said.
