Hyderabad: A software employee died, allegedly by suicide, in his house at Mayuri Colony in Miyapur on Monday. He is suspected to have been upset over his ill health and ended his life, police said.
The victim, Shashank Chowdary (30), a native of Ongole in Prakasam district, was working for a software firm in the city. He was reportedly upset over health issues for some days. According to the police, he hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his bedroom with a rope and his family found him dead.
The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue and was later handed over his family on Tuesday. The Miyapur police are investigating.
