Techie ends life in Hyderabad

N Balla Sridhar, 44, a native of Guntur district, was in a depressed state after his friends allegedly failed to repay the money he had given as loan.

Hyderabad: A manager working with a leading software company committed suicide by hanging at his house at Siddhartha Nagar in Ameerpet on Sunday.

N Balla Sridhar, 44, a native of Guntur district, was in a depressed state after his friends allegedly failed to repay the money he had given as loan. As he could not get money on time from his friends, Sridhar allegedly borrowed money from persons known to him to meet his expenses, the police said.

As his friends allegedly continued to delay the repayment of the money, Sridhar took the drastic step when his family members went to a supermarket in the morning, the police said.
