Techie from Hyderabad drowns in Kongala waterfalls in Mulugu district

Mulugu: A software engineer from Hyderabad drowned in the Doosapatiloddi at Kongala waterfall in the Wazeedu mandal in the district on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Rahul Penta (23), a resident of Hyderabad.

The body has been retrieved and sent for postmortem. Sources said that he along with four others had arrived at the waterfall for a picnic and met with the watery grave while taking a bath in the waters. Wazeedu police are enquiring about the matter.
