Teen-aged labourer held in Hyderabad for ‘rape attempt’

Hyderabad: The Balapur police arrested a youngster on charges of attempting to rape a minor girl here on Sunday.
The arrested person was identified as Mohd Adil (18), a labourer from Wadi-e-Mustafa area.
According to police, Adil, who stays in the eight-year-old girl’s neighbourhood, allegedly lured her to his house and attempted to rape her. The girl who sensed danger escaped and informed her parents, who approached the Balapur police.
Adil was arrested and produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
