Hyderabad: A teenager died after falling from the balcony of his house at Nacharam on Monday while creating reels, the police said.

The boy, Mithun (14), a standard eight student, who was a resident of Mallapur, Nacharam, was performing stunts to create a video and had climbed atop the balcony parapet wall, when he lost his balance and fell on the ground, the Nacharam police said.

The boy was rushed to a hospital by his family members, where he died while undergoing treatment later on Monday. The Nacharam police registered a case and are investigating.

The family members of the boy told the police that Mithun regularly created reels with the help of his friends and posted them on his Instagram account to gain views.
