Teen girl dies, mother and brother injured as scooter collides with fire truck in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, 16-year-old Mehak died and her mother and brother were seriously injured after their scooter allegedly collided with a fire truck at RTC Cross Roads–VST Junction. Police have registered a case and shifted the injured to Gandhi Hospital.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a teenage girl died while two of her family members were injured allegedly when their scooter collided with a fire truck at RTC Cross Roads–VST Junction on Tuesday morning.

As per available information, Fatima from Bandlaguda was travelling towards Ramnagar on a scooter along with her son Ibrahim and daughter Mehak (16), when a fire truck allegedly collided with their vehicle.


The impact caused the two-wheeler to fall under the rear tyre of the fire truck. Mehak died on the spot, while her mother and brother suffered serious injuries.

Chikkadpally police reached the spot, registered a case, and shifted the injured to Gandhi Hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
