Hyderabad: A teenage boy from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential School in Gowlidoddy was found hanging in his room on Saturday early hours. Police suspect he died by suicide.
The 16-year-old boy was studying intermediate first year in the residential institution.
He allegedly hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room post Friday midnight.
His family members raised suspicion over his death and they alleged negligence on part of the management for informing them late.
Police said preliminary investigation indicates it to be a suicide. A case was booked and investigation is on.
