Teenage girl goes missing in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A minor girl has reportedly gone missing from her house at Ramnaspur in Kalapathar in the old city. The incident occurred on Monday and a police complaint was lodged late on Friday. The 16-year-old girl was missing since Monday morning and her parents, unable to find her even on Friday evening, lodged a complaint with the police.
The parents suspect a teenager, also a minor from the same locality, to be behind the girl’s disappearance. Police are examining footage from surveillance cameras in the colony and surroundings to trace her. Based on the complaint from her mother, a case of kidnap was booked and investigation is on.
