Teenager electrocuted by fence set up by father; body dumped in river in Asifabad

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A farmer and his relative were arrested on charges of dumping the body of his teenaged son, who was electrocuted after accidentally touching an electrified fence laid around his agriculture field, in a river and then filing a missing complaint fearing the consequences of his act at Tonkini village in Sirpur (T) mandal, on Sunday.
Police said Choudari Jayender (19) was electrocuted when he accidentally touched the electrified fence set up by his father Chiranjeevi around his paddy farm at the village on the night of April 9. Chiranjeevi allegedly dumped the body in Penganga river fearing he would be jailed for electrocution of his son. He then lodged a complaint saying that his son had gone missing on April 10.

Police registered a case against Chiranjeevi based on the cause of the death, electrocution, based on the postmortem report. Chiranjeevi and Chiliram were produced before a court and remanded in judicial custody. Further investigation is on.
