Peddapalli: In a possible honor killing, a youngster was hacked to death allegedly by the family members of a girl who was in love with the murdered man.
This incident was reported from the Muppirithota village of Eligedu mandal on Thursday night.
Police said the deceased person, Purella Sai Kumar (17), was celebrating his birthday with his friends when the girl’s family members attacked him with an axe. He died on the spot.
Saikumar’s family members alleged that relatives of the girl killed Saikumar.
Police rushed to the spot and began an investigation.
