Teenager killed in road accident in Khammam

A 17-year-old teenager was killed on the spot and another injured when their two-wheeler skidded off the Khammam-Suryapet National Highway on Thursday. The Khammam Rural police have registered a case and initiated an investigation

Khammam: A teenager was killed and another injured in a road accident on Khammam-Suryapet national highway near Ponnekal stage in Khammam rural mandal in the district on Thursday.

The deceased Shaik Mohsin (17) of Tallampadu village died on the spot when the two-wheeler on which he was travelling towards Khammam lost control and skidded off the road. Another youth, Shaik Zaheer riding on the same bike suffered a broken arm and other injuries.

The injured youth was rushed to hospital in Khammam. Upon receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot, shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem; booked a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
