Telangana: 1.7 cr individuals received at least first dose of Covid vaccine

In the individuals between the 18 and 44 years category, a total of 62,75,024 have received the first dose

Hyderabad: Covid vaccination drive in Telangana continues to be rolled out at a healthy pace with healthcare machinery so far managing to administer at least one single dose of the vaccine to nearly 1.7 crore individuals.

So far, a total of 1,69,96,111 individuals from Telangana have received either first or both the doses of the Covid vaccine out of which 1,26,68,683 have received the first dose while 43,27,428 persons are fully vaccinated and have received both the doses.


Among health care workers, 3,03,970 health care workers have received the first dose while 2,29,663 have received both the doses of Covid vaccine. So far, a total of 3,16,562 frontline workers have received the first dose while 2,11,829 are fully vaccinated.

In the individuals between the 18 and 44 years category, a total of 62,75,024 have received the first dose while 57,73,127 persons in the age group of above 45 years were administered with the first dose. In the 18-44 years category 9,09,236 have received the second dose while 29,76,700 persons in above 45 years age group are fully vaccinated.

As per the COWIN portal, since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive on January 16, the State has received 1,47,74,335 (1.47 crore) doses of Covid vaccines and vaccine wastage was about 3.64 per cent.
