Hyderabad: The State Health Department has completed all arrangements to start administering Covid vaccines to children aged 12-14 from Wednesday in Telangana.
A total of 17, 23, 000 beneficiaries have been identified and will be administered with Corbevax, the vaccine manufactured by city-based pharma giant Biological E limited. All children born on March 15, 2010, and before will be eligible for the administration of the Covid vaccine and registrations to reserve vaccination slot is available online and on-site.
Meanwhile, the Centre has asked states to organise dedicated Covid vaccination sessions through earmarked centres, and train vaccinators to avoid mixing of vaccines during the inoculation of children in 12-14 age-group.
