Nirmal: A man was killed on the spot when he fell off his motorbike which skidded off the road, while another girl sustained injuries at Thanoor mandal on Sunday.

Thanoor Assistant Sub-Inspector Bhanu Prasad said Anil (36), a private employee from Thanoor mandal centre, received grievous head injuries when he fell off his motorbike which skidded at a bridge, resulting in spot death for him.

A girl who was travelling by another two-wheeler sustained minor injuries when Anil’s bike hit her. Based on a complaint received from his family members, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
