Telangana: 43 candidates under RGCAS qualify for Civil Services interview
Forty-three aspirants under Telangana’s Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam Scheme have cleared the Civil Services mains and qualified for the interview. The government will provide further support and mock sessions to boost their final selection chances

Peddapalli: Forty-three candidates who received financial aid under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam Scheme (RGCAS) have qualified for the Civil Services interview, marking a key milestone in Telangana’s efforts to nurture administrative talent.
Of the 202 aspirants who received Rs 1 lakh each under the scheme, 43 advanced to the interview stage. Launched to boost Telangana’s representation in the Civil Services and support aspirants from varied backgrounds, the scheme is implemented with the support of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) through its CSR funds.
The government will now extend an additional Rs 1 lakh each to the 43 shortlisted candidates and conduct mock interview sessions under the guidance of senior Civil Services officers.
SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Balram congratulated the successful candidates and wished them the best in the final round. The achievers hail from several districts, including Rangareddy, Warangal, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Medak, Jagtial and Adilabad.
