Telangana: 80-year-woman abandoned in bus stop by sons

Hyderabad: In a heart-wrenching incident, three brothers abandoned their 80-year-old mother at a bus stop in Kodangal, Vikarabad district.

The sons allegedly wanted to unburden themselves of her responsibility. After spending two days without food, the woman fell unconscious.

The matter came to light after good Samaritans lent her a helping hand and fed her. The woman has three sons and a daughter. Noticing her plight, Kodangal municipal chairman Jagadeeshwar Reddy responded saying she would be moved to a safer place soon.
