Telangana ACB officials nab MPDO while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from contractor

The accused official demanded the bribe for signing a cheque for the works the contractor had completed

Medak: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths nabbed Pedda Shankarampet in-charge MPDO Vittal Reddy while he was accepting Rs 20,000 bribe from a contractor at his office on Friday.

According to DSP Sudharshan, the accused official demanded the bribe for signing a cheque for the works the contractor had completed.

Unable to pay the bribe amount, the contractor approached the ACB officials who laid a trap to nab him. The accused was produced before ACB court.
