Telangana ACB registers record 67 cases in three months

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau registered 67 cases, including trap, disproportionate assets and surprise check cases, during the last three months. Director General Charu Sinha said it was the highest number of second-quarter cases recorded since 1983, reflecting intensified anti-corruption efforts

Hyderabad: As many as 67 cases were registered in the last three months, including 34 trap cases, 10 disproportionate assets (DA) cases and 23 surprise checks, signalling an intensified crackdown across the State.

Director General of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Charu Sinha said it was the highest number of cases recorded for the second quarter, between April and June, since 1983.


The record number of cases reflects the organisation’s renewed focus on curbing corruption through sustained vigilance, professional investigations and coordinated efforts, she added.
