Hyderabad: Telangana reported 151 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Friday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,963 and the total number of positive cases to 6,72,203. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday, was 3,838.
The authorities today conducted 33,226 Covid tests of which results of 944 samples were awaited. A total of 190 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98. 83 per cent on Friday.
So far, a total of 2,77,34,468 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,72,203 have tested positive and 6,64,402 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included two from Adilabad, four from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 45 from areas under GHMC, four from Jagtial, one from Kamareddy, 16 from Karimnagar, three each from Khammam and Komarambheem Asifabad, one from Mahabubnagar, four from Mahabubabad, two from Mancherial, 12 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, two each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, five from Nalgonda, three from Nizamabad, two from Peddapalli, four from Rajanna Siricilla, 10 from Rangareddy, five from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, four from Warangal Rural, seven from Warangal Urban and six from Yadadri Bhongir.
