Hyderabad: In a yet another unique milestone reached by Telangana State in the fight against Covid pandemic, private and government Covid Vaccination Centres (CVC) as on Monday have administered a cumulative total of over 6 crore doses of Covid vaccines to all the eligible age groups.

So far, a total of 6,00,63,411 Covid doses have been administered in Telangana at private and Government vaccine centres. Out of the 6 crore Covid vaccines, 3,11,87,219 doses comprised of first dose, 2,83,57,632 were second dose and 5,18,560 Covid doses were booster or precautionary doses administered to senior citizens with co-morbid conditions.

The Covid vaccination drive for children in the 12 to 14 years of age group, launched on March 16, has so far covered 2,14,055 children (19 percent) out of the targeted 11,36,000 children in Telangana.
