Telangana announces 46-member team for inaugural IPA Nationals
The Telangana Pickleball Association named a 46-member team for the inaugural IPA Nationals, recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Olympian Vishnu Vardhan leads the association, with Sameer Varma as Team Mentor and Sreekar as Captain

Hyderabad: The Telangana Pickleball Association (TPA) has announced a 46-member contingent that will
represent the state at the inaugural Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) Nationals, officially recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The official Telangana team jersey was unveiled by Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary for Industries & Commerce and IT, Government of Telangana, who extended his best wishes to the players ahead of the national championship.
Leading the state’s charge is Olympian and Asian Games Medalist Vishnu Vardhan, who serves as theSecretary of the Telangana Pickleball Association.
The team will be guided by Telangana State No.1 player, Sameer Varma, as Team Mentor, and senior player Sreekar as Team Captain. Picklout Founder, Himanshu, joins as the Team Manager, alongside Vamsi, who serves as the Chief Coordinator
accompanying the team.
The Telangana contingent stands as the largest state representation at the IPA Nationals, reflecting the state’s growing commitment to developing pickleball from the grassroots level to the professional circuit.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan commended the association’s efforts in promoting pickleball across Telangana and encouraged the team to bring laurels to the state.
The IPA Nationals will witness participation from top players across the country, marking a new era for pickleball as it gains formal recognition under India’s sporting framework
