Hyderabad: In light of the recent seizure of Alprazolam from drug offenders by Nizamabad Rurla Police, along with the hospitalization of 83 persons due to alleged adulterated toddy in Kamareddy district, the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) officials have decided to take up multi-level action to enhance public awareness and discourage the consumption of adulterated toddy.

As part of this initiative, 26 teams have been formed consisting of officers from TGANB across various wings to conduct awareness campaigns on illicit toddy in Nizamabad district. Total 104 villages will be covered by 26 teams (each team will cover four villages).
