Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Additional Superintendent of Police Sriramoju Chittaranjan toured remote tribal villages Govena, Kursiguda and Naikapuguda located on the hillocks in Tiryani mandal and found out their challenges by trekking for 20 kilometres through the forest on Sunday.

Chittaranjan told the dwellers of the three villages that the police department would always be at the forefront in serving the needy. He promised to extend better medical services on behalf of the department to a boy Shamburao, ailing from a disease. He also assured of help in health care and education being faced by the residents.

The IPS officer then distributed volleyball and T-shirts to youngsters. He asked the residents not to get attracted to ideologies of banned Maoists and to shun addiction of prohibited ganja. He advised parents to encourage their children in academics. He requested them to share the movements of strangers with the police.

Rebbena Inspector Budde Swamy and Tiryani Sub-Inspector Srikanth were present for the tour.
