Jogari Madhukar felt humiliated after being beaten up in full public view, say police
Mancherial: A 20-year-old tractor driver died, allegedly by suicide, after feeling humiliated when a person assaulted him following a tiff over repayment of debt at Kommera village in Chennur mandal on Saturday.
Police said that Jogari Madhukar ended his life by consuming pesticide when he felt insulted after being beaten up by one Gopi from the same village in full public view for delaying repayment of loan. He returned home and took the drastic step.
He had taken the loan reportedly for participating in a banned cockfight event.
HIs father Shankaraiah lodged a complaint with police. A case of abetment to suicide was registered against Gopi. Investigation was taken up.
