Hyderabad: Speaker G Prasad Kumar announced that the Telangana Assembly was adjourned sine die on Tuesday.

During the day, members participated in two short discussions, including the Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation Policy (HILTP) and Telangana Rising 2047.

Explaining the salient features of the HILTP, Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said an inquiry would be conducted into irregularities in allocation of lands by the previous government.

Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, a member of the Cabinet Sub-Committee that suggested the HILTP, said the Congress government aimed to raise Rs 10,000 crore through the policy. He added that by facilitating the relocation of industrial units beyond the Outer Ring Road, the government was striving to make Hyderabad a pollution-free city.

The Speaker said the House was run for five days during which 13 Bills were passed. Two resolutions were adopted and four short discussions were held during the session, he added.
