Telangana Assembly session to commence on September 7
The Telangana Assembly session will commence on September 7, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy informed MLAs on Monday. He asked legislators to expedite pending land acquisition for irrigation projects and assured funds for land acquisition, rehabilitation and forest clearances.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Assembly session would commence on September 7. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy informed the MLAs about the commencement of the session and also discussed development programmes in their Assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with available Ministers and MLAs in the Secretariat on Monday. During the meeting, he instructed the legislators to complete the pending land acquisition for irrigation projects in their respective Assembly constituencies expeditiously.
Revanth Reddy warned that the projects would never be completed if the land acquisition was not completed. He assured that the government would sanction funds for land acquisition, R&R (Relief and Rehabilitation) and forest clearances. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, D Seethakka and other leaders participated in the meeting.
