Telangana: Basar temple earns over Rs 1 cr income in 89 days
The executive officer of the temple Vijayarama Rao said that the temple earned an income of Rs 1,00,30,657, mixed gold ornaments weighing 143 grams, 4.250 kilograms of mixed silver ornaments and 147 foreign currency notes by way of offerings by devotees from August 28 to November 25.

Nirmal: The famed Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam of Basar registered an income of Rs 1.03 crore for a period of 89 days. Counting of hundials was held on the premises of the shrine on Tuesday.
The executive officer of the temple Vijayarama Rao said that the temple earned an income of Rs 1,00,30,657, mixed gold ornaments weighing 143 grams, 4.250 kilograms of mixed silver ornaments and 147 foreign currency notes by way of offerings by devotees from August 28 to November 25.
The counting was conducted in presence of the EO, chairman of the governing council of the temple Sharath Pathak and endowments department’s inspector M Raja Mouli and Basar police. SBI staffers, home guards, members of Vagdevi Society and Shrisaila Bramarambika Seva Samithi of Kamareddy district took part in the counting.
