Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar tested positive for Covid-19. He has been in home isolation since Tuesday evening.

Kamalakar, who is Huzurabad town in-charge for Huzurabad by-election, participated in the poll campaign in the town along with TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav on Tuesday.


The Minister returned to Karimnagar in the evening after he developed severe cold and fever and tested positive for the virus. Kamalakar posted a message on WhatApp and other social media platforms asking his followers and other people who met him in the recent past to undergo home isolation.
