Telangana beats Meghalaya 3-1 to reach Sub-junior football final

Telangana secured a 3-1 victory over Meghalaya in the Sub-junior National Football Championship semi-final. Stolzer Kamson’s brace and Anas’ late goal helped Telangana book their place in the final. The Telangana Football Association congratulated the team for their performance

Hyderabad: Telangana entered the final of the Sub-junior National Football Championship with a hard-fought 3-1 win against Meghalaya on Saturday.

The teams were locked at 1-1 at full-time.


Meghalaya scored the first goal in the 50th minute, only to see Stolzer Kamson from Telangana equalize in the 74th minute.

In extra time, Stolzer Kamson scored his second goal in the 108th minute, and later, Anas sealed the victory with a goal in the 114th minute.

The Telangana Football Association congratulated the players and coaching staff for their outstanding performance and team spirit. “We also extend our sincere thanks to the press and electronic media for their continued support and encouragement,” said a statement.
