Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Monday postponed online classes scheduled to commence from June 1 for the academic year 2021-22 until further orders. This is applicable to managements of all junior colleges in the State.

The Board in its admission schedule had earlier announced that online classes would begin from June 1. “Normally, every year all regular classes start from June 1 but due to the present prevailing Covid-19 pandemic condition and continued lockdown in the State, starting of online classes for this academic year 2021-22 is hereby postponed until further orders,” the TS BIE said in a press release.

The next date of commencement of online classes will be informed in the due course, it added.
