Telangana: BIE postpones inter practical exams
Now, the practical examinations will be conducted after Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) (theory)

Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) has postponed the practical examinations which were scheduled to be held from April 7 to 20. Now, the practical examinations will be conducted after Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) (theory) i.e., from May 29 to June 7.
It was reported in these columns on April 1, that the Board was contemplating postponement of the practical examinations. With a surge in the Covid-19 cases, the State government announced temporary closure of all educational institutions – government and private – from March 24.
“All the principals of Government/Government Sector/Private Colleges; and students of second year intermediate (general), and first & second year students (vocational) are hereby informed that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the practical exams for general and vocational courses, IPE 2021, scheduled from April 7 to 20 have been postponed and will be conducted after theory examinations i.e., from May 29 to June 7,” TS BIE secretary Syed Omer Jaleel said on Saturday.
Details of conducting the practical exams i.e., issue of hall tickets, batches and batch wise actual time-table will be informed in the due course, he added.
