Telangana BIE puts off inter enrollment schedule
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has kept the 2026-27 admission schedule in abeyance a day after announcing it. The board said revised instructions would be issued shortly as the earlier circular was withheld due to proposed reforms in the admission process
Hyderabad: A day after announcing the admission schedule for the academic year 2026-27, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) on Tuesday kept it in abeyance.
In a press release, the TG BIE informed all government, private aided and unaided, TG residential and welfare junior colleges, and composite degree colleges that a circular issued with regard to enrolment of students for the academic year 2026-27 had been kept in abeyance due to proposed reforms. It said revised instructions would be issued shortly.
As per the earlier schedule, admissions were to commence from May 8, with the last date for receipt of applications in colleges being May 31. Classwork was scheduled to begin from June 1 and the last date for completing first-phase admissions was June 30.
