Telangana-born Praveen Jonnalagadda appointed CIO of US firm
Jonnalagadda hails from Miryalguda from Nalgonda district and has an MSc (Mathematics) and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Osmania University.
Hyderabad: Telangana’s Nalgonda district-born Praveen Jonnalagadda has been promoted to be the chief information officer (CIO) at CommScope – a Fortune 250 company in the USA. The $8.4 billion (approximately Rs 600,000 crores) revenue company has operations in the US, India and China.
Jonnalagadda hails from Miryalguda from Nalgonda district and has an MSc (Mathematics) and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Osmania University. He was key in opening the company’s capability centre in Hyderabad in 2013, providing employment opportunity in Telangana.
He has been with CommScope for over 12 years now and has over 20 years of experience in leading global teams in software development, manufacturing, supply chain and information technology. At CommScope, he has been leading digital transformation efforts partnering with the business units both internally and externally.
