Telangana boxers finish second in Bolarum boxing tournament
Tamil Nadu won the team title at the Invitation Boxing Tournament in Bolarum, with 14-year-old Joshika named best boxer. Telangana bagged silver while Andhra Pradesh finished third. Dignitaries from Blue World Boxing Association and local organisations attended the prize distribution

Hyderabad: The 14-year-old Joshika of Tamil Nadu was adjudged the best boxer in the Invitation Boxing Tournament at Bolarum Football Ground here.
Tamil Nadu won the team title while Telangana finished second and Andhra Pradesh third.
Chief Guest and sponsor for the 1st National Boxing Championship, Dr Narsimhan Kannan, Chairman of Blue World Boxing Association, gave away the prizes.
Dr Navin Raj, President of Blue World Boxing Association, and Mr G Arvind, General Secretary Telangana Youth Congress and Vice-President of Blue World Boxing Association, were present. Special guests included Mr Shedrak, President of Hyderabad Government Teachers’ Union, and Mr Bhagirath Chary, Secretary of Bolarum Sporting Club.
