Hyderabad: Telangana is expected to witness moderate to scattered rainfall activity between July 23 and July 29, India Meteorological Department (IMD), New Delhi forecast has indicated.
While several other parts of the country including Karnataka are expected to receive widespread rainfall, the IMD, New Delhi forecast has indicated that Telangana and coastal AP region will experience scattered to moderate rainfall.
Overall, the forecast suggests that Telangana is expected to see rainfall levels trending toward the ‘below normal’ category between July 23 and 29.
While there are no indications of heavy rainfall, the general public can expect respite from hot weather conditions. The IMD has indicated there is no probability of heat wave conditions or ‘warm nights’ across any part of the country between July 23 and 29, with temperatures likely to remain near normal levels.
Meanwhile, the IMD, Hyderabad weather forecast on Monday has issued an alert over strong winds till July 24. “Strong surface winds up to 30-40 kmph are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in remaining districts of Telangana,” IMD, Hyderabad said.
