Telangana: Brahmin association organises free mass Upanayana
The event organised under the aegis of All Brahmin Officials and Professionals Association at Bhadrachalam
Kothagudem: Free mass Upanayana and marriage introduction forum was organised under the aegis of All Brahmin Officials and Professionals Association at Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam’s Amba Satram at Bhadrachalam.
In the event organised in collaboration with Kothagudem Brahmin Samakhya, around 20 Upanayana Vatuvus (young boys who are the subjects of the ritual) were invested with the sacred thread and initiated into the Gayathri Mantra.
Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkat Rao, association president Sushil Kumar, secretary V Sudhakar, members Phani Raju, Karivena Seetharamaiah, Krishnarjuna Rao, Mohan Sharma, Sunkara Ramachandra Rao, BSNL Ramachandra Rao, Kota Venkat, Shashikant Sharma attended the ceremony. As many as 50 persons attended the marriage introduction event.
