Telangana: BRS leaders condole deaths at Maha Kumbh stampede
Highlight need for proper crowd management at large religious gatherings to prevent tragedies in future

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, which claimed 30 lives and left many injured. The party leaders emphasised the need for proper crowd management at large religious gatherings to prevent such tragedies in future.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao said he was deeply saddened and anguished by the incident. Offering condolences to the bereaved families, he extended prayers for the well-being of the injured.
Leader of Opposition in the Council S Madhusudana Chari called the tragedy shocking, and urged both the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments provide financial aid to the families of the deceased and ensure better medical treatment for the injured.
BRS MLA T Harish Rao described the incident as heartbreaking and urged the Centre and Uttar Pradesh government to stand by the victims and extend all possible support.
