Telangana: BRS stages dharna demanding urea supply in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: BRS activists staged a dharna on the Rajiv Rahadari at Nustulapur in Thimmapur mandal on Wednesday, demanding that the State government ensure adequate supply of urea to farmers.
Led by former MLA Rasamai Balkishan and party district president GV Ramakrishna Rao, the protesters sat on the road and raised slogans against the government.
Speaking at the protest, leaders accused the Congress government of creating hardships for farmers by failing to provide sufficient urea. They warned that the agitation would be intensified if fertiliser was not supplied at the earliest.
