Karimnagar: Upset by his brother and sister allegedly cheating him, a 42-year-old man committed suicide by consuming pesticide. The deceased Thipparapu Srinivasa Chary recorded a selfie video before taking the extreme step.

Chary, a resident of Thirumalanagar in Karimnagar town, consumed pesticide in his house on Wednesday night. The family members shifted him to hospital where he died on Thursday while undergoing treatment.

According to a selfie video recorded by the deceased, he was cheated by his brother and corporator Anjaneyulu and sister Laxmi.

Anjaneyulu took Rs 20 lakh from him with the promise that he would register a piece of land in Bhagathnagar of Karimnagar on his name. Instead, Anjaneyulu registered the land on his wife’s name.

On the other hand, his sister Laxmi took Rs 5 lakh from him five year ago promising to register a piece of land in Alugunur of Karimnagar town. So far, she has not registered the land.

Chary decided to end his life as both his brother and sister had allegedly cheated him. Based on a complaint lodged by family members, Karimnagar one town police registered a case and began investigation.
