Telangana CID forms SIT to probe alleged fund misappropriation in Hyderabad Cricket Association
The Telangana CID has formed a Special Investigation Team to investigate alleged financial irregularities and fund misappropriation in the Hyderabad Cricket Association. Four cases have been registered against key office-bearers, with officials indicating that charge sheets may soon be filed.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Crime Investigation Department formed a Special Investigation Team to probe into the irregularities and misappropriation of funds in the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
Four cases were registered in various police stations following complains against the board members of the HCA who include HCA president A Jagan Mohan Rao, treasurer CJ Srinivas Rao and its Chief Executive Officer Sunil Kante alleging misappropriation and embezzlement of funds.
There are allegations of large scale misappropriation of the funds provided by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), to the Hyderabad Cricket Association in the past following which the SIT was formed by the State government following orders of the High Court.
The SIT officials said that soon the chargesheet in the cases will be filed before the court.
