Telangana: CII, TCS donates 60 oxygen concentrators
These oxygen concentrators will be distributed to various hospitals in the State for immediate use by people who are affected by Covid.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of Telangana formation day, Tata Consultancy Services in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry-Telangana has donated 60 oxygen concentrators to the Government Hospitals and charity organizations.
As part of the CII Telangana Covid-19 relief measures, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar gave away oxygen concentrators meant for Government Hospitals located at Warangal, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Sangareddy and Hyderabad districts. These oxygen concentrators will be distributed to various hospitals in the State for immediate use by people who are affected by Covid. This initiative was supported by Tata Consultancy Services.

Sajjanar appreciated the gesture by TCS and CII during these pandemic times.
V Rajanna, Past Chairman, CII Telangana and Regional Head, TCS said that CII is working with the Government to ensure that State comes out of the pandemic situation and business operations restart towards ensuring growth and livelihoods of people. CII is working with the Health and Industry Departments to speed up the vaccination programme. Under this, employees including families of CII member companies will be vaccinated in the State, he added.

Also, CII in collaboration with Tech Mahindra Foundation has donated 25 beds to MNJ Cancer Hospital and arranging meals at the Government Hospitals. Also, CII members have also contributed oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, additional beds in hospitals, community isolation centres, medical equipment, PPE kit and other relief materials to the people affected by Covid.
